Still need some convincing about VCU Music’s Third Annual Flamenco Festival that starts tomorrow ? Then here’s this weekends line-up with descriptions to help you decide which concert to go to. (After the Break)
This weekend, in the Single Center for the Performing Arts and the James Black Music Center, the music department presents their third annual Flamenco Festival. For a $10 student ticket, you’ll hear guitar like you never have before.
The Humanitarian Endeavor is looking for stellar performances by VCU students to present at the Benefit Concert on Apr 14th. All types of performances are welcome & the theme is ‘Hope’. Artwork by VCU students relating to the theme will also be showcased and sent to schools in Africa. All proceeds raised will be donated to World Food Programme USA. Auditions will take place on 22nd & 27th March 12-3:30p in the Richmond Salons III. Please email thehumanitarianendeavor@gmail.com if interested in auditioning or showcasing your art!
